For the series "Be twisted" I was heavily influenced by the inkblots by Rorschach. I got the idea during my graduation project in 2010 at the photography college in Venlo. Instead of taking standard landscapes and portraits, I wanted to do something different, create something more profound. By mirroring my images you can look at my pictures in a different way and see things that other people do, or do not see. It often has to do with how you feel when you are looking at the images. I have chosen to use different elements in this publication, like colour, black and white, nature, objects, close-ups, landscapes and also apply these techniques to humans and animals. It makes it a light-hearted series. The project is ongoing and from time to time new works will be published. The photographs in the series have not been given a title so they leave more to the imagination.
