Autorenporträt
André Brillaud was born in New York City in 1929. He studied at Kansas University and Michigan State University and other major education institutions. His interests are varied and include acting in compassionate directorates such as the Salvation Army and singing various genres of music such as chorale and barbershop. He was an active barbershop singer for over twenty years and sang the lead in Beach Music quartet for fifteen years.He was active in the Korean War and stationed at Tripler Hospital as a surgical assistant. He retired from Bristol Myers in 1991 as vice president, responsible for clinical trial testing worldwide of mainly oncology drugs.He has been married for over seventy years to his beloved spouse, Joan, and they have five children, many grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. He and Joan have lived in Wilmington, North Carolina, since 1991, play golf a few times a week, and are active in the community.
