Autorenporträt
Anne Hotchkis was born in Amherst, Nova Scotia in 1956. She attended Mount Allison University in the early 1970s where she obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Bachelor of Education degree. Her teaching career spanned twenty-nine years and she spent all of it at various grade levels in elementary schools in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. In 2005, Anne obtained her Master of Education degree from Mount Saint Vincent University. She is retired, and happily re-married, and her sons are grown, married, and there are three granddaughters in the family.
