Bear Poets is a collaborative work of five poets, Multi (Kagan Parker), Kat Desai, Dan Manning, Euphoric Bear (Darryl Parker), and Question Heir (Wesley Parker). This is the first volume of poetry collections by Bear Poets titled Sacred Moments. The title and poetry in this book acknowledges that all of life's journeys are sacred and transformative. Each poet brings their unique perspective on life's journey, exploring introspective understandings on the acceptance of change, embracing our beautiful uniqueness, the gifts of self awareness, and the movements of life between crisis and joy.

Dan Manning is a retired Texas educator who enjoys playing the drums, listening to music, and traveling with his wife Becky to see as many national parks as possible. He also serves as a part time leadership coach for school principals. Dan is the author of a book of poetry and reflection published in 2020 entitled "Eat the Pie". An automotive mechanic and adviser, spoken word poet, singer, rapper, producer, and thought enthusiast. Sacred Moments is Question Heir's first published work of poetry which is a new and on going collaborative work with Bear Poets along with his father Darryl Parker. Wesley produced all of the music for Sacred Moments, the spoken word album, and is also working on his first rap EP that will release in 2023. Kat Desai is a marketing professional who loves dance, horror movies, and all things creative. She loves spending time with her husband Neel and is the proud mom of an amazing teenage daughter, Parker. Though a nearly life long writer, Sacred Moments is Kat's first published work of poetry. Find her on Instagram at @katwrites_words. Kagan Parker, A.K.A. Dear Multi, is a social magician and multi talented creative. A singer song writer, musician, poet, photographer, writer, social activist, social healer, and diversity and inclusion expert. This is Multi's first published work of poetry which is a new and on going collaborative work with Bear Poets along with their father Darryl Parker. Multi has released three albums and several singles. Dear Multi is also working on their book scheduled to release late 2023. Darryl is an engineer, certified mindfulness instructor, professional DJ, life coach, consultant, poet, writer and social activist. Sacred Moments is Darryl's first published work of poetry which is a new and on going collaborative work with the Bear Poets.
