Steve Newvine is an author and columnist living in California. He grew up in northern New York where he observed statewide politics as a teenager with his own dreams. His true story about the time his dad, uncle, and grandfather worked on the Empire Plaza project inspired this fictionalized account about ambition, aspiration, and holding on to one's dreams. This is Steve's third novel. He has authored a dozen books including memoirs centering on his life from his youth (Growing Up, Upstate and Grown Up, Going Home) on up to his first year after college (Stand By, Camera One).
