Autorenporträt
Monica Kidd was raised in the small town of Elnora, AB. Shortly after moving to Newfoundland in 1998, she began working full-time as a reporter for CBC Radio, where she won numerous awards for news stories and documentaries. She is the author of Actualities, a collection of poetry, as well as the novels The Momentum of Red and Beatrice. After completing a B.Sc. in Zoology at the University of Calgary and a M.Sc. in Biology at Queen's University, she attended medical school at the Memorial University of Newfoundland. She is currently a medical resident in St. John's, Newfoundland.
