Short-term Christian missionary teams will benefit from this collection of brief, daily devotionals designed for spiritual preparation. Forty devotionals are provided based on short passages of Scripture, each with an optional memory verse, prayer topic, and questions for reflection. A bibliography is included for further reading, and a short list of websites are suggested to supplement the text. Written by a seasoned mission team leader who is also a medical doctor and clinical educator, this resource will help sharpen the spiritual focus and biblical grounding of new and experienced mission volunteers. Don't let yourself or your team stumble in bringing the Good News and love of Christ to those in need. Instead, arrive as a messenger with Beautiful Feet for the Gospel (Isaiah 52:7; Romans 10:14-15), prepared to effectively share, serve, and make disciples in biblically faithful and culturally honorable ways. This short guide will help you and your team to be more winsome and effective messengers of Christ to the hurting and the lost.
