Kaylie Walkington was born and raised in Salt Lake City, UT. She received her Bachelors of Science in Behavior Science & Health from the University of Utah, and moved with her husband to Redmond, WA after he graduated from the U of U as well. Kaylie is best friends and wife to Mike Walkington, a mother of two adorable kiddos, and owner of a beautiful golden retriever. Kaylie and her puppy are a registered Animal-Assisted-Therapy Team and volunteer at local hospitals. Kaylie is an avid journalist, and when she was diagnosed with cancer- while pregnant with her son- she created a blog "Pregnant with Lymphoma." Her memoir "Beautiful Things" is her first publication. Kaylie's hope is that her story will help others find the joy and beauty in their own lives.
