Amber Roquelle was born Amber R. James to Tabatha M. James-Jennings and Walter J. Bell on June 25th in Birmingham, Alabama. Her arrival was a surprise not only to her family but also to doctors. Her birth was considered to be a miracle. She was adopted by her grandparents Johnny and Carlee W. James in 1996. Amber graduated from Ramsay High School in Birmingham, Alabama with honors. She continued her education at the University of South Alabama and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology. Amber currently resides in Alabama with her beautiful daughter. She is also currently seeking a second degree from The University of Montevallo in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Human Development and Family Studies. She is passionate about equipping young people to be their best self and building up the next generation to be a light for God's kingdom. Amber is a community advocate, a small group leader, and a follower of Jesus Christ. Amber has always been a lover of words.
