Autorenporträt
Beatrice Galilee is a New York-based independent writer, organiser of events and exhibitions, and a researcher of practices and positions in contemporary architecture and design. She is co-founder and creative director of The World Around, a new platform for critical architectural discourse. Between 2014-2019 she was the first curator of architecture and design at The Metropolitan Museum of Art. Beatrice has conceived and organised exhibitions in Shenzhen, Gwangju, Lisbon, Milan, Ordos, Istanbul, London and New York. Maria McLintock is a writer, curator and lecturer based in London. She is Assistant Curator at the Design Museum, where she co-developed the shows Designers in Residence (2018) and David Adjaye: Making Memory (2018). She also co-runs a research project called System of Systems that explores technology in the European asylum-seeking process, and teaches Architectural History and Theory at the School of Architecture, University of Limerick. Deyan Sudjic is the director of the Design Museum in London. He was previously editor of Domus magazine, and founding editor of Blueprint magazine. His portfolio of publications includes The Language of Cities (2017), Ettore Sottsass and the Poetry of Things (2015) and B is for Bauhaus (2014), amongst others. He was made an OBE in 2000.
