This book details the journey of Jacky Robinson Jr., from a young child growing up in the streets of Akron Ohio and ending up sentenced to two consecutive life sentences in 2003 and 2005 for two murders. He was never taught true faith in God by members of his family who would hypocritically force him and his siblings to attend different religious services ( while briefly residing in their household) and at the same time abuse them. Learning how to fight and how to use different methods of violence kept Jacky alive when sent to prison. His search for God grew, however, as he felt a huge emptiness within his spirit. Disciplining himself, he began to study religions and spiritual principles that helped him gain insight into the unseen realm. As the book progresses, Jacky teaches the reader what he has learned and applied to his character, Christian truths, that have helped to remold and reshape him into a new person. His past active role as a gang leader within the Ohio prison system positioned him to influence another convict he'd met and become friends with to falsely confess to the two murders Jacky was charged with in hopes to help free Jacky. ( Newspaper article included) After this failed attemp to have his case re-opened and after flooding the prisons in Ohio with drugs and contraband smuggled in by a prison guard Jacky paid, he was forced into the state of Connecticut by Ohio prison and told he could not return anytime soon due to management concerns. The state of Connecticut afforded Jacky the isolation and calmness he'd been looking for inside prison as he began to take God more seriously on his promises and word held out in scripture.
