Autorenporträt
Mark Edward Mann was born in Chicago on April 28, 1956 and spent his childhood in Skokie, Illinois. He began to write in high school, and early on, it was clear writing was his passion. Mark continued his studies in literature at UCLA, living in Southern California. Mark was accepted into the prestigious poetry program, Bread Loaf Writers Conference in New England in 2021. Mark writes in Modern American Poetry Style favoring plain language and strong images. This collection of poems is being published posthumously after Mark passed away on July 18th, 2022.
