Becoming a Border Crosser is an ethnographic work that invites teachers in this globalised world to reflect on their own practice, to cross the borders of their own ideas and beliefs, their own culture and broaden their teaching horizons. This work has real examples of lack of teachers ' competences as well as examples of successes in teaching in diverse contexts. Any teacher from early years to adulthood can identify with the anecdotes in this ethnography.

Autorenporträt
I've spent more than half my life teaching students from diverse sociocultural backgrounds in Costa Rica, the United States, Italy, Spain and in England. The richness of these experiences have definitely made me more empathetic, sensible and sensitive in other aspects of my life.
