All men want to live happy lives and Becoming a Happier Man is an invitation to do exactly that. With encouragement and awareness, men often break trough the unwritten and silly rules that culture imposes--and that we accept--to define ourselves as "real men. In reality, our ability to live meaningful and more satisfying lives increases the more we experience and express the best of our humanity. Becoming a Happier Man highlights essential perspectives of living a happier life that remain constant no matter how old we are, or whatever our background, education, career, race, sexual orientation, health, or bank account might seem to say about us. I've created this book to share what I've discovered from my own journey and from working with hundreds of men and facilitating over a thousand men's groups over the past 30 years. Each page and image offers a meditation that with thoughtful reflection and positive intention will nurture a more savory taste of life. The words and images throughout this book describe what it takes for men to live "bigger lives" filled with meaning, connection, compassion and happiness. Consider the words and images as sparks able to ignite your own imagination and shed light upon your path toward Becoming a Happier Man.
