Shelia has been writing her whole life but finally published her first book, Memoirs Of The Happy Lesbian Housewife, in October 2014 under the nom de plume of Lorraine Howell. It was a finalist for a Goldie Award. Finding Home won the Young Adult Golden Crown Literary Award (Goldie) in 2016. The stretch into paranormal books was a natural and necessary progression.
