Registered dietitian Brenda Davis is a leader in her field, an internationally acclaimed speaker, and the coauthor of more than 7 books, including Becoming Raw, The New Becoming Vegetarian, and Defeating Diabetes. Brenda is the lead dietitian on a diabetes intervention research project in Majuro, Marshall Islands. She lives in Kelowna, British Columbia. Vesanto Melina, a registered dietitian, is a sought - after speaker and consultant. She has taught nutrition at the University of British Columbia and the Bastyr University in Seattle. She coauthored the joint position paper on vegetarian diets for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Dietitians of Canada, and is currently a consultant to the government of British Columbia.
