The present study is the result of the collection of information from small-scale beekeepers, who have some difficulties in the production of honeycombed beeswax, since it is a process performed manually with great expenditure of time. It was also verified that the machines that perform this activity have a high commercial value, preventing the acquisition by small beekeepers. Thus, the purpose of the project was to develop a low-cost equipment for family agriculture, capable of honeycombing beeswax, cutting it in honeycomb dimensions, adjustable for Langstroth and Schenk style hives. Thus, through the execution of the informational and conceptual project phases, it was possible to develop the conception of a honeycomb machine, which aims to meet the needs of family beekeepers, optimizing time and labor in the activity.
