Autorenporträt
A self-proclaimed country boy, Rachi reflects on his upbringing in a typical rural Kenyan village. His parents were unschooled but were God loving. He is the elder son in a pile of six siblings. He started school on his own initiative. He grew up typically in a traditional rural-village with close supervision-under tight economic and social circumstances. Rachi is blessed with unique character, talent, spirit, and roots. He started real life performing kiddie-like tasks around the homestead and eventual roles of shepherding family goats/sheep. Rachi was transformed into Christianity since teenage. At age eleven (11), he joined and survived the Kenyan "bloody" Mau Mau civil war from 1952-1960. He eye-witnessed the historical December 1963 as Kenya achieved the political independence from the British colonialism. Recognized as a professional accountant, he has held prominent positions as a consultant, professor, auditor, and program analyst/inspector. Rachi has travelled widely around North America and globally. His immigration advancement from a student to US citizenship including civil service in the Department of Justice is remarkable.
