Jacqueline Hymes is the President/CEO of Business Harmony Consultants (BHC), a management and human resources consulting company. With almost two decades of human resources experience primarily in equity, diversity and inclusion, her career coupled with her experience as a single mom serves as the inspiration for this series on diversity for children. By sharing stories and having ongoing discussions with her son AJ, Jacqueline wanted to ensure he would have the knowledge, skill, and ability to embrace the diversity of his world. These stories are a part of the series, Adventures in Diversity with AJ, and available in print for others to share. Dr. Hymes received her Ph.D. from The Ohio State University in her hometown of Columbus, Ohio. She is very proud of AJ who currently serves in the United States Air Force.
