J Delayne Ryms earned a Master's degree from the University of California at Davis. Her poetry has appeared in various journals and anthologies such as The Comstock Review, High Plains Literary Riview, Puerto Del Sol, Looking for Home (Milkweed Editions), Frontier Poetry, and Wild Apples, a Journal of Art and Inquiry. Her work has received numerous awards, including a grant in literature from the California Arts Council, a prize in poetry and publication from The Canadian Poetry Contest, nomination for a Pushcart Prize, and two Academy of American Poets Awards. She lives in Georgia with son Jorin and dog Kai.
