Autorenporträt
Like most kids from Bethesda, Maryland, Ned Barrett grew up creatively wandering through his early life, finding himself in his music and paintings. His path seemed righteous enough until he experienced the deepest slide into the depths of despair. It didn't take long for him to realize the value we have as flawed human beings. A knowing that only comes from knocking on death's door and praying that no one answers. The extreme peaks and valleys of his life have offered true insight into the soul and the personal struggles that torture us all. The unspeakable shame, primal fear and complete resolve that comes from the anguish we put ourselves through served to ignite his passion to write his story in hopes of helping others along the way. His life has been one of grit, pain and triumph as he gives us a shiny new perspective on hardship, limitations and the amazing power of choice. Ned lives in Southern California with his four dogs Gracie, Stella, Bently and Alice.
