In order to achieve the maximum genetic gain with minimum resourses and in minimum time, the gene action studies are of great importance in executing an efficient breeding programme, and attaining useful information regarding the selection of hybrids in terms of performance of their parents.The experiment was conducted to determine the gene action of different wheat genotypes for some morphological traits of higheconomic value like plant height, peduncle length, spike length, number of tillers per plant, number of spikelets per spike, flag leaf area, number of grains per spike, 100-grain weight.
