In the moments (days-weeks-months) that I did not read my diary of affirmations, I felt not quite as light, happy or confident. As soon as I returned to reading these pages, I felt stronger, happier, with the will to follow my dreams. Reading these pages morning and night, begins and ends my day in a positive frame of mind, helping me to stay strong, determined, focused on the good in me and around me. In my eyes every woman is beautiful, just like every girl is and as we grow into our own uniqueness, it's our inner self worth that gives us sustaining happiness. That's what keeps us strong, motivated and good to others. Being Beautifully Strong is the inner beauty & strength that gets us what we want. It's so important to take care of ourselves first (and I'm not talking of ignoring the needs of others, like your children), but if we don't take care of ourselves, then how are we suppose to give to others, if we ourselves are empty? Some call that being a selfish bitch. If so, I'll take it. I am worth the time and effort. I am worth taking care of me.
