Why do some people and businesses accomplish deep and resounding success and prosperity while others do not? What are the qualities that set them apart? Prior to writing this book, Ashkan Tashvir spent more than a decade working with and studying entrepreneurs, startups, leaders and investors, including many exceptionally high achievers, to discover the behavioural patterns and qualities that determine success or failure. He found that it's not due to a lack of capital, technology or the right techniques or strategies; it's because of who and how they are BEING, the underlying qualities that drive their behaviours and actions. In his book, BEING, Ashkan lays out a comprehensive paradigm called the Being Framework¿ which distinguishes each of these qualities, mapping out how and why each plays a critical role in performance, effectiveness, influence and leadership. Too many leaders overlook the people side of business. This framework is engineered to deliver a unique, systematic way to address this. The Being Framework transcends far beyond today's popular quick-fix recipes for success or self-affirmation. Instead, it draws your attention to the extraordinary power of discovering and honing your well-polished qualities and casting light on your Being to reveal the 'shadow' or troubled parts of you, explaining how those can be transformed. Fundamentally, this book focuses on how to BE so you can have whatever you care most about in life and make a meaningful contribution to humanity.
Autorenporträt
Ashkan Tashvir is a best-selling author, thinker, and philosopher with a profound interest in and knowledge of metaphysics, ontology, epistemology, phenomenology, and ethics. He is also an engineer and the founder and CEO of Engenesis, a business movement of global venture-builders, investors, business management consultants, advisors, practitioners, and coaches. Ashkan's interests extend beyond theory and abstracts of philosophy to their application in the real world. One of the greatest challenges he has faced in this regard has been to make his intellectual bodies of work relatable and accessible to as many people as possible to broaden their reach globally and maximise the benefits received. With accessibility and relevance in mind, he applied a structured and holistic approach to the study of human consciousness, leadership, transformation, and being through a series of practical frameworks, tools, and methodologies. One of those frameworks is the Being Framework, which incorporates an ontological model consisting of 31 Aspects of Being, the Being Profile, and the Transformation Methodology. Today, this readily accessible and relatable framework supports people worldwide to derive fulfilment from their contributions and be more effective and integrous human beings. The framework is also applied within organisations for team effectiveness and company-wide transformation. Committed to supporting human beings to raise their awareness by shaping a more congruent, authentic, and accurate conception of reality, Ashkan's overarching mission is to facilitate transformation in the world, one human being at a time. The Being Framework supports him in achieving his mission by offering practitioners a methodology and tools that encourage individuals to focus on who and how they are being and leverage their potential to tap into and project the power and unique being that lie within. When not writing, studying, coaching, or building his businesses, Ashkan spends his time close to nature with his family and their beloved dogs. He also enjoys cooking, singing, and playing the oud and harmonica.
