The Rev. Dr. Errol E Leslie is a retired and founding pastor of Grace and Mercy Ministries Inc. Palm Bay, Florida. Prior to starting that congregation, he served as a pastor in the Methodist Church of the Caribbean and the Americas, as well as the Florida and the New England Conferences of the United Methodist Church. He is originally from Jamaica where he attended high school, college, and seminary. In high school, he was very involved in the interschool Christian fellowships and participated in several weekend residential camps, all of which turned out to be spiritually uplifting. After graduating seminary, he served a number of small churches where he specialized in evangelism and youth ministry to include being a camp counsellor for several years in the Methodist church. He previously published the book Stolen Grace in which he tells the story of his journey in and departure from the United Methodist Church.
