The authors, Xyta Lucas and Dale Phillips, are the current copresidents of the Bella Vista Historical Society, which was founded in 1976 as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The society's mission is to preserve the unique history of Bella Vista. This goal is accomplished through the exhibits, extensive photograph resources, and artifact collections housed in the Bella Vista Historical Museum. This publication presents a small sampling of these collections.
