George Saitoh is the penname of Gary Quinn. Born in Dublin he holds a PhD in molecular biology from the University of York. He lives in Tokyo and teaches at Waseda University. His art essays, drama, fiction, and poetry have appeared in numerous literary journals. His plays have been staged in Tokyo and Dublin.
