Marvin Mukanaka was born and raised in Zambia. A former hotelier and flight attendant, although a powerful athlete, he grew up in theater arts, eventually making cameo appearances as a doctor in Kabanana, Zambia's first soap opera, and another similar role in Twice Dead. In between all that, he wrote and co-produced 'I Need a Cure, ' a theme song for a short film, Home Sour Home. He wrote and produced this film, playing the lead role, to address domestic/women abuse. After years of hard work towards his goals as a social justice-driven artist, at one point contributing articles to the Zambia Daily Mail, he believes Beloved Hatred is his arrival on the global stage
