The universe of intestinal ostomy involves several aspects that range from the particular assumptions of public policies, as well as the physiology of the intestinal ostomy itself, to the psychological issues of each individual stomized. The modality called circular dances is capable of producing numerous benefits for its practitioners. It contributes to improve the physical and mental disposition, flexibility, posture, muscle strength and resistance, conscience or body scheme, reducing tensions and pains, precipitating well-being. It acts in the mental and emotional field, since it allows the person to work attention, memory, cognition, language, as well as to express, socialize and minimize the feelings of isolation and loneliness. In this aspect, the author presents a solution that combines technicalism with human sensitivity, allowing the documentation of subjective feelings related to the making of an intestinal stomy and the reversal of such insecurities and negative perceptions through non-traditional and efficient therapeutic measures.
