Michelle Wheelington currently resides in Magnolia, Arkansas with her husband and three children. The Backwoods Blessings series was inspired by a combination of time spent in children's ministry and hunting, fishing, and setting crawfish traps with her son. Michelle recognized an excitement and passion in him for learning about the outdoors that just wasn't present in sharing the gospel with some of her younger, often restless students. Michelle set out to write a captivating, adventure series based from the lifestyle her family loves, at the same time intricately weaving Biblical truths into the stories. Michelle's prayer is that her stories will plant little seeds of spiritual truths in the hearts of those who read them. To God be the glory!
