Autorenporträt
The author, Deb McManus is a nursing professor, and former school and camp nurse, who has spent her career working in pediatrics. Her Ph.D. research focuses on spirituality. Deb believes there is true spirituality in pet ownership. Her love for children, all animals, and especially Bentley, inspired this book. Prior to his rescue, Bentley was found as a neglected stray, but through love and kindness, he went on to have a wonderful life. He was also known to hang out in the school nurse's office whenever the opportunity arose. Bentley brought joy and happiness to all those he encountered. When Deb is not working she enjoys spending time with her three grown children and hanging out with her English Bulldog Bear, and her two Persian cats, Phillipe and Baby.
