Kathryn was born and raised in Southern California. She has always had the desire to write children's picture books. She has two grown children who she raised on her own. When her daughter was young, she would tell made-up stories at bedtime. This is her second children's book. In her first book, "Bentley Learns to Share," the story expresses the importance of friendship over toys. Kathryn has a unique way of using animals in her stories so children can understand some of the social issues along with the idea of how to treat one another. Kathy is a medical coder who lives and works at home in Riverside, CA. She is currently working on her third book with Bentley as the main character.
