Adrian Watson is a former Irish National Schools Short Story Writing Champion. He won the National U12 short story writing competition when in primary school at Cornafulla NS Co Roscommon. Adrian has a law degree from Galway University and a master's degree in leadership and defence from Maynooth University. He has served for over 25 years in the Irish Army, both at home and abroad, bringing his wealth of life experiences to life in his short stories for educational benefit to kids in a fun, entertaining and beneficial way. Adrian came up with the story after watching a crane in his local park, Mount Argus Park, in Dublin 6W.
