Dr. Kwame Pongo grew up in Ghana, West Africa but he has traveled extensively around the world with Up With People International as a student. He also spent most of his adult life in the United States . He has lived in Bahamas, Belgium, Bermuda, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Jamaica, Norway, The Netherlands and Sweden where he has first hand experience of the similarities and differences between these cultures and that of Ghana and Africa. These experiences reflects in his books and other teaching and learning materials.
