'Best if Read By 6 Jun 6', consists of over 200 aphorisms and quotations, mostly mine(140) and the rest by others(65) - ancient, dead, modern, and living. They naturally seem to fall into four arbitrary groups: statements (50%), advice(25%), questions(13%), and actions(12%). Statements ('neuropeptides rule') are generally wrong or right, and so each statement challenges you to ponder it, to see where you and your fellows sit. Advice ('just do it') strongly urges possibilities to try. Questions ('which is greater: quite a few or quite a lot?') found sprinkled throughout are like puzzles. Actions ('I paid, I peed, iPod') - generally my own flounderings. Arbitrary because each individual reacts to the world differently and finds different topics more important than others.

Autorenporträt
A long, long time ago, me and Scotty were chatting about 'life, the universe and everything[TM]', and wondered about luck. Is there such a thing as luck? Are you born lucky? Do you make your own luck? Is it all in the mind? Are you feeling lucky, punk! Pondering over the next few days, I suddenly realised that luck is all in the mind, which is great for the lucky, as they have been blessed with the paradox of realising it, and the wits to make their own. So I rushed over to Scotty's work on my bike and excitedly announced 'good news for the lucky - there is no such thing as luck!' Thus began a new project.
