Procurement means acquisition by purchase, rental, lease, hire purchase, license, tenancy, franchise, or any type of works, services or supplies or any combination up to the time a user consumes or utilizes a service as per his requirement and in line with the procurement Act and regulations of the country. And the Public Procurement Law is to regulate all procurement transactions. The book is meant to assist the procurement practitioner in implementing the Rules and Policies in managing the procurement process. It guides users through all stages of the procurement cycle in identifying the main benchmarks and other important issues. I have added a Procurement Practitioner checklists at the end of this book. It is meant to be essential for staff that perform their procurement duties.
