Inclusive education refers to a system of education in which schools should accommodate all children irrespective of their intellectual, physical, social, emotional, linguistic or other states. In fact, it is a mean to realize the child's right to quality education without any type of discrimination with full respect and dignity. Several studies related to inclusive education has been taken by various researchers at different levels. The present book is based on a comprehensive research study on status of Inclusive Education in Himachal Pradesh. The research study endeavors to evaluate the Implementation of the Inclusive Education for the Disabled at the Secondary Stage (IEDSS) scheme in Himachal Pradesh. The study also attempts to identify the best practices of inclusive education in the State.
