BILL MARES es un escritor y comentador de la Radio Pública de Vermont. Es también presidente de la Asociación de Apicultores de Vermont, un ex profesor de secundaria, y fue miembro de la Casa de Representantes de Vermont de 1985 a 1991. Un corredor ávido, lector, cantante de coro y viajero, tiene también una gran pasión por la historia, filosofía y la pesca. Mares es el autor de varios libros, incluyendo Abejas Sitiadas (Bees Besieged) y Pescando con los presidentes (Fishing with the Presidents). Vive en Burlington, VT con su esposa, Chris Hadsel.
