Siomara Faria ha conseguito un master in Comunicazione sociale presso l'Università Federale di Minas Gerais. Attualmente dirige il Museo dell'Immagine e del Suono di Belo Horizonte, MIS-BH. Dal 2007 ricerca, cura e sviluppa progetti audiovisivi.
