Produktbeschreibung
This book has historical materialism as its theoretical reference and method and the process of creating the DIEESE School of Labor Sciences (ECT-DIEESE), as a case and significant moment of investigation, reflecting on how the concept of emancipating education of the working class understands the place of the subjects (educator and student) in the teaching-learning process, appropriating scientific knowledge for their struggle and overcoming the contradictions produced in this process. It verifies that the workers, when they know the scientific methods and the dialectic criticism, increase the possibility of overcoming the separation between the knowledge forged in the struggle and the knowledge socially legitimated by science, and concludes that conditions are necessary for the articulation between the practical knowledge brought by the workers and the scientific knowledge provided by the Institutions of Higher Education. Finally, this book intends to contribute to the construction of a higher education that incorporates and legitimates the knowledge constructed in the production and reproduction of life at the moment workers-students begin to enter the universities.
