When does the End Zone Justify the Means? The LA Leopards and the Portland Pioneers are on a collision course toward the Super Bowl Championship. One team is led by a take-no-prisoners head coach; the other by a slow-and-steady coach who has been thrust into the spotlight because of a tragedy. A tense showdown is about to unfold before the worlds football fans. But along the way to the championship game, something bad happens: the very integrity of the game comes within a yard of ruin! In this thrilling new work of fiction, Hall of Fame Coach and best-selling author Marv Levy takes us on a journey through the NFL like weve never seen before. Through the eyes of a memorable cast of characters, many of whom are based on real football players, coaches, general managers, and owners, we get to see professional football from the inside. And we get to see the games underbelly, where rules are bent or broken, lies are used as promises, and the integrity of the game hangs in the balance.

Autorenporträt
Marv Levy has always been unlike any other football coach. A Phi Beta Kappa Graduate -- and holder of a master's degree in English history from Harvard -- he has combined brains and brawn in a unique way. After coaching in the college ranks he worked his way through the NFL ranks, eventually leading the Buffalo Bills to four consecutive Super Bowl appearances. He was named Coach of the Year twice, in 1988 and 1995, and was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2001. His biography, Where Else Would You Rather Be, reached New York Times Best-Seller status in 2004. This is his first work of fiction.
