A 'must read', adrenaline-pumping psychological thriller from bestselling Australian author Jaye Ford, now available in the US, UK, Canada and Germany. Imagine if your worst fears came true … again. At seventeen, Jodie Cramer survived a terrifying assault at the hands of three strangers. Now thirty-five, she is a teacher and mother, her memories of that past horror are buried deep - so when she sets out for a weekend getaway to the Australian countryside with three friends, all she has in mind are a few laughs and a break from routine. However, unknown to the four women, their secluded cabin was once the focus of a police investigation and, like Jodie, it hides a dark secret. As the friends begin their trip, an unsettling accident triggers flashbacks from Jodie's past. Shaken but determined to enjoy her trip, she grapples fears of a new attack on herself and her friends. She is convinced they are all being watched. But when no one believes her she begins to doubt her sanity. Until two men knock at their door… Winner of two Davitt Awards and described by Australia's Sisters in Crime as 'so deliciously scary, it's hard to believe this psychological thriller is a debut novel.'
