In this simple message, Gina Marlena reflects upon her mother's death and the memories she remembers. These are memories of living life day by day, pure-heart moments, and authentic moments that are instilled deep within her as memories. Home sweet home was built brick by brick in moments. No moments were taken for granted where time seemed to stop and go on forever. In the book's message, Gina Marlena reminds us to keep living a simple life and to stay true to our authentic self, true to family, and true to traditions and future generations.

Autorenporträt
Gina Marlena lived most of her life on the Monterey Peninsula and some years in Germany as a military brat. She has a BA in Urban Studies because cities and architecture has always fascinated her. Gina sometimes creates random fractals and loves taking pictures with her cell along her path of daily life. The images can be found at Imagekind.com, an online art gallery where you can receive the images on a canvas or framed. Gina for the most part is a quiet soul who enjoys nature, flowers, reading, music, open spaces and markets where people like to gather, coffee shops, the ocean, mountains and rivers. Gina created a quote once: "A Journey to Love is like being a diamond in the rough. As you chisel yourself into a beautiful diamond, it speaks of Love and Joy."
