Prof. R. Bhattacharya did her Ph.D. from Calcutta University. Formally she was a professor at Kalyani University and now she is a professor and head in the department of Physics, JIS University. She has published more than 200 research papers and ten text books. She has also guided many Ph.D. and M.Phil. students.
