Autorenporträt

Capitalizing on his innate sense of aesthetics, color, design, and balance developed during his years working in the fashion industry, Lester Blum began channeling his artistic talents into photographic and literary projects. As a photographer, Lester has exhibited and won several awards at numerous group and solo exhibitions throughout the United States. His work can be found in eight photography books conceived, edited and written by him. Recently, Lester has utilized the visual medium (photographs and video) to focus on various relevant social issues. To augment these visual representations and to add to the emotional impact, he has self-published three corresponding narrative fictional stories. His further literary endeavors include coauthoring a one-act play, Letting Go, and a children's book, Beyond the Swirl. Currently, he is collaborating on a Holocaust memoir, Run to Nowhere.
