In his short span of life, Bibekananda Jena published two poetry collections, Pabanara Ghara was published in December 1971 by Lark Books and later Debi Smruti Kimbadanti by Friends Publishers. Both the collections were out of print for a long time. In this version of Binekananda Jena Samagra Kabita, both of his collections are combined and published so that the new generation readers can get an opportunity read this powerful poet.

Autor

Born in 1937, Bibekananda Jena joined Indian Audit and Accounts Service in 1960 after having a graduate degree in Geography from Ravenshaw College and a post graduate degree from St. Stephen's College, Delhi. During 1983-85, he served on the editorial board of Pratibeshi, a quarterly literary journal from Kolkota. He died of cardiac arrest at the age of 48 in Kolkota. He has published two poetry collections in Odia - Pabanara Ghara and Debi, Smruti, Kimbadanti.
