Dan Costian, PhD, was born in 1937 and began to study yoga in 1965. His extensive travel throughout Europe, Asia and Africa, including his nine visits to India, as well as his own experience from the daily practice of yoga and meditation, enabled him to acquire first-hand information about the world's religions and their connection with yoga, meditation, and various forms of spirituality.
