Edward Cook is Ordinary Professor of Semitic Languages at the Catholic University of America, Washington DC. He is the author of several books, including The Dead Sea Scrolls: A New Translation (2005, with Martin Abegg and Michael Wise) and Dictionary of Qumran Aramaic (2015).
