As Changjiang Scholar, Wang Qilong is a renowned Tibetologist and Linguist in China. Having got his PhD from Minzu University of China in 1996, he held a full position at Tsinghua University as professor.He was a visiting scholar of Harvard-Yenching Insititute(2003-04) and vice-president of Tibet University (05-09), and now chair professor at SNNU.
