Nací en Madrid a mediados del siglo pasado. O sea que soy muy mayorzota. De pequeña me gustaban muchas cosas: dibujar y pintar, leer, escribir, jugar a las maestras... Por eso estudié Magisterio, Francés, dibujo y pintura, cerámica... Y seguí leyendo mucho para llegar a ser una buena escritora. Eso es lo que hago ahora; escribir para niños y mayores después de muchos años dando clases cada día que es una de las cosas con la que más he disfrutado a lo largo de mi vida. Desde 1981 vivo bajo la luz de Almería y aquí soy muy feliz con el mar y el sol que tenemos. Amo los animales, las plantas, el campo...todo lo que ofrece la naturaleza pero también el teatro, el cine, la música, la charla con los amigos, los huevos fritos con patatas y las cajas de bombones (por supuesto llenas). Me encanta leer y escribir sobre todo poesía. Soy autora de 12 libros para mayores y alrededor de 80 para niños y he ganado algunos premios con mis versos. Todo eso es hasta hoy porque me quedan muchos más libros por hacer ya que pienso seguir escribiendo hasta que sea muy viejecita.
